LUAP The Unconcious Therapy - Bond Street

Unconscious Therapy

Unconscious Therapy is an evolving body of work that investigates the links between mental health, memory, and the natural world. Developed over several years, the series combines large-scale immersive installation, photography, and painting to create a layered, multi-sensory experience.

The exhibition unfolds across multiple floors, each exploring a different aspect of LUAP’s practice. A large-scale pink-fur installation—constructed from over 150 metres of fabric—sets an emotional tone, inviting visitors into a heightened sensory environment. In the basement, new and previously unseen paintings examine the relationship between nature and mental wellbeing, using symbolic landscapes and reflective imagery to evoke inner states.

Drawing on personal reflection and lived experience, Unconscious Therapy considers how we navigate the psychological terrain of the mind. Referencing both chaos and care, the work reframes disorientation not as something to be feared, but as part of a necessary process of growth and change. Through this series, LUAP invites viewers to rethink the inner wilderness—not as something to escape, but something to understand and evolve within.
