Nikon in conversation with LUAP and Heather Agyepong

As part of Life Lines, The Bottle Factory hosted a panel with multi disciplinary artist LUAP and Nikon Ambassador Heather Agyepong, moderated by Nikon marketing director Julian Harvie. The conversation explored how photography can shape self perception, support creative expression, and open up honest discussion around mental well being.

The room was full and attentive. The Q&A that followed was open and practical, with questions on process, ethics, access, and how to stay truthful in the work while protecting one’s head and heart. LUAP described how The Pink Bear moves between extremes and the everyday, translating lived experience into images that feel real.

After the panel a Nikon Professional expert offered a hands on session with the latest Nikon kit. Attendees tried bodies and lenses, asked technical questions, and swapped tips.

From midday LUAP led a private tour of Life Lines. The group spent time with the paintings, talking about place, memory, and roots, and how the work sits in real spaces while drifting toward an interior world. The afternoon felt intimate and grounded. Thank you to everyone who came, listened, and took part.
