Photoshoot
LUAP’s photoshoots follow the Pink Bear through varied environments, from wild landscapes to global cities. These images reflect an ongoing exploration of place, identity, and narrative through travel and performance.
Over ten days in the Mongolian wilderness, LUAP travelled on horseback through remote landscapes to create new Pink Bear artworks — a journey shaped by endurance, silence and fleeting connection.
A dreamlike road trip through New Zealand’s South Island — from swimming with wild dolphins to stargazing in a field of lupins, glaciers, stormy beaches and alpine lakes, all witnessed by a quietly surreal companion: the Pink Bear.
In early 2018, I fly to Sydney for just 72 hours to shoot a new series with the Pink Bear for Daisy Green’s flagship Soho restaurant. No jet lag, no downtime — just sunrise to sunset shoots across Bondi and the city. The result is a bold, fast-paced commission I’m proud to now see hanging at Scarlett Green.
